Winfield Auction Gallery is a new division of Antique Revival, a gallery of nearly 20 years and the largest single-owner antique, fine and decorative arts gallery in New York, located just outside of Corning, southern gateway to the Finger Lakes region.  
The opening of Winfield Auction Gallery is a major milestone for co-founders Mike Watts & Vicki Rachel as this expansion comes at a time when the field of retail galleries and auction houses is contracting.  “Winfield Auction Gallery is an obvious extension of our well-established retail and wholesale businesses,” states co-owner, Mike Watts. “Our current infrastructure invited this transition with the combination of knowledgeable and experienced staff, a well-trained shipping and delivery team, and our spacious facility of over 15,000 square feet.  To the already established team, we simply added a couple of technology professionals and we were off and running.” 
“This venue, created to service our growing retail and wholesale customer base, is more accessible and less cumbersome for today’s buyers and tech savvy generation who prefer the convenience of making buying decisions online,” explains Watts. “Further, it allows our buyers maximum flexibility including the opportunity to preview the merchandise either onsite at our gallery over a two-week preview period or via the multiple detailed images online, to bid either in advance or participate in the auction real-time from the comfort of their homes, shops or offices while entering bids from their laptops and mobile devices. Additionally, and for those who do not prefer technology, traditional phone and absentee bids are always welcome.”  
Winfield Auction Gallery anticipates 3 auctions annually, each offering over 300 hand-picked items. Prior to each event, the items are meticulously detailed online including comprehensive images capturing every aspect of the piece, thus allowing potential buyers to bid with confidence. Offering incentives such as free and in-house domestic shipping and delivery for items with a minimum purchase, to include furniture, is certain to further entice potential bidders.
